About the Hill
Mt. Zion is a public ski hill located on Gogebic Community College’s campus in Ironwood, Michigan. Home to GCC’s nationally acclaimed Ski Area Management program, Mt. Zion offers days-long outdoor entertainment for the entire family. Enjoy picturesque views of “Big Snow Country” while downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, or snowshoeing. Mt. Zion Ski Hill also offers “learn to ski/snowboard” programs that are perfect for children and beginners of all ages.
