About the Hill
Hiawatha Slopes Ski Hill is located in the woodland hills of Rock River Township inside Alger County. Township financed and operated, this ski hill has been a winter staple to the community for many generations past. The ski hill is easily accessible as well as a cost effective winter activity for all ages. Sledding is free on the East Slope, Skiing and Snowboarding can be enjoyed on the Western Slope for a $5 Tow Rope Use Fee and Seasonal Passes for singles and families are also available! Enjoy the network of cross country trails available as well at no cost! Accepting used equipment for all ages.
